P-Day in Bukit Aup

Hello guys! How are you doing? 29. December. 2014, On Monday. So, I want to share with you guys about our P-Day in Bukit Aup (Aup Hill). Actually I just have a plan about go to Bukit Aup but then my friend gave me a called. So, I must go to town that day very early. We walked together and we had lunch together. I missed the bus because I’m love to talked with her while lunch. At 3 o’clock I don’t have any transport to get Delta Mall. She helps me to find a van to get Delta and then we got it, but the driver charges me too expensive RM4.00 just for 10 minutes (to Delta Mall) and RM5.00 (Sibu Jaya which take like an hour’s or almost 1 hour in the van). When I got Delta I just waited for them to get delta because they just finished their party at the senior couple house (Sister Bodell birthday). Then they arrived like 10 minutes after I got Delta. We brought some water and we went to the church to take my bike there. Elder Liddle pump me till the church (he’s so sketchy when biking, I just think about I will fall because I sat in the hand bar, but finally he biking very well). When we arrived at the church, we off to the Aup Hill very fast because we were ran late. We were arrived at 3.30 p.m. in Aup Hill. We climbed Aup Hill and we are so tired. When we walked around elder Liddle touch the ritual things (I think that he shake the ritual things) I told him “Don’t touch that, if you touch it something bad will happen to you.” Then he says “I don’t believe that!” I said “OK, you can do that but if something bad happen to you that are your false, I warned you already.” He says “I don’t believe it, ok.” (He still poked the ritual things) then I told him to break the ritual thing but he doesn’t want to do it. I said “Elder try to broke it, if you broke it you will get more trouble then.” But he doesn’t want to. We went to the Aup hill canteen while waiting for the rain. (in our belief : Don’t touch the ritual thing if you didn’t involve yourself into the ritual because we belief that our ancestor spirit or the other spirit take care of it, if you still poke or touched or whatever you’ll get trouble by bad spirit or ghost.)

We couldn’t wait the weather to stop rain and we just came back to the church at 6 p.m. and the elders had planned to visit Belum’s family at 7.30 p.m. I asked my dad to take me at 9 and he says he can make it. I put my phone into the plastics and we biked to the Lanang road and elder Liddle tire was flat at the lanang roads. We need to walk to the Belum’s family house. Just take like 10 minutes to get there. When we were arrived to the place we prayer and we go to their house. They asked us to sit down but we were so wet. When I pulled out my phone in the plastic, water got in my phones and my power-bank and it couldn’t switch it on. My phone was death! (Maybe that was the curse from the ritual). Tire was flat and water got in my phone. (Just like natural action). Water got in my phones maybe because I asked elder Liddle to break the ritual things. The other days after elder Liddle poke the ritual thing his tire got flat again, that’s second time. (The curse really works we guess.)

Belom’s family is so friendly and amazed. We finished at 8 p.m. and we walked to get the church (Lanang – sungai Merah) and it was taken like 1 hour and 15 minutes to get there. We couldn’t pick up the phones because my phone was death and elder Jahali phone was silent. When we arrived at the church, my mom and dad gave us some noodles, warm water and towels. We sent elder Liddle and elder Jahali to their home.

What the amazed experiences we had! We were walked like 10 miles, maybe. Haha. Even though we are so tired but we love the missionary works. Talked about the curse “Did you think it’s really working?”
